MHC Traffic Ltd was formed in 2000 to provide a professional traffic data collection service to the Transport Engineering and Traffic Planning Sectors.

The consultancy brings together the experience and ability to professionally undertake all types and sizes of both manual and CCTV data collection.

Furthermore, a six month in-house development of GPS journey time surveys has been completed and is considered by many of our existing clients to be the most accurate and cost-effective method of undertaking these once highly human dependant surveys.

Since its conception MHC Traffic Ltd has built a strong reputation for providing our clients with an accurate, in-depth, and competitive survey package which is delivered on time and within budget. Through time, we have grown in stature and now operate from three offices in the UK and undertake work around the country, into Europe and have recently starting forming strong partnerships in Abu Dhabi and Dubai which have allowed us to participate in surveys including the Abu Dhabi Transport Surface Masterplan.

The vast majority of our surveys are undertaken using our 70 in-house developed portable CCTV camera units. These units provide a valuable recording of each survey that can be reviewed time and again after the survey has finished. It ensures that the information we provide is accurate and DVD copies of all our surveys can be provided, confirming the reliability of data.

The footage returned by our camera units is then analysed by our enumeration team who possess the necessary experience and training to accurately transcribe the information ready to be input into our report software.
